Maybe, they can get him to testify later. Everyone he get's a pardon from Trump should be drug up to investigative hearings and made to testify etc. If not some of those pardons need to be looked into being over turned.
They will if they have personal knowledge of whatever crime they're investigating. Once you have immunity, there's no chance of self incrimination, so you can't take the 5th.
