I'm thinking about a project.

I was just mulling over an idea. I've actually had this idea before, but never really got into it.

I'm thinking about making a wiki. But this wiki is going to be a wiki dedicated to politicians, where people can lampoon the hell out of politicians. For instance, under Marjorie Taylor Green users could put all the stupid crap she's done, link to stupid videos of hers, etc.

Just a thought.

Problem is, there is no way I'd be able to do it myself. It would be a true wiki: with input from anybody that wanted to add to it. I'm wary of the issues that may create, but at the same time I'm thinking: WTF? Why not?

I've never understood how a wiki works. What do you do? How do you do it?

It's pretty easy, really. It just takes time. You sign up and get instant access to it. Then you see if a politician you want on the wiki is there. For instance, you could search for Matt Gaetz.

You'll see a statement saying that the page Matt Gaetz doesn't exist and you can click on the red text (Matt's name will be red as that is what you searched for) to create the page.

Once you create the page, you add anything to it you want. It's like posting here, really. It has many of the same tools. It will ask you to check that you own images or whatnot when you upload them so make sure you're not using copyrighted images.

Other than that, knock yourself out.

I've added a Sean Hannity page. I used that as an example on the main page, so I added it. Nothing is on it but his picture. I also added the start to a Marjorie Taylor Green page. I'll probably work on the Georgia folks first for obvious reasons.
