So there's this:

And that is a view you will never, ever see. Here's how most people will see it:



I'm sorry, but that's just hideous. I didn't even realize what it was when they were unveiling it.

If you tell me you're going to make a sculpture honoring the late Dr. and Mrs. King, and then you have to explain to me what the hell it is and what it represents, then you have failed catastrophically.

Why the "go big or go home" on this?

Why not the full sculpture of the two of them from that picture rather than this...monstrosity?

Whoever designed it, approved it and signed off on it should never again be allowed to work in ANY public works again, not even so much as a storm drain.

Yeah. And here's the funny part: they unveiled it from the other side, so NOBODY had a damn clue what the hell it was. It looked like two whales humping or something from the angle they unveiled it at.

There's really only one spot you can stand in (that one) where you can actually have a clue what it is you're even looking at.
