So they're expecting tropical storm force winds and buckets of rain over the next two days throughout all of Georgia, so if the site goes down, that's going to be why. They're expecting widespread power outages and internet outages.

The rain started shortly before I headed out to get my MRI and already here at the house we've had 1.65 inches. (I have a full weather center now. My friend down on Johns Island, SC got me hooked on weather machines.)

3 inches yesterday afternoon and the hurricane is still 600 miles away. All is calm right now. The shit isn't supposed to hit the fan in earnest until around 1 AM with what's left of the eye hitting around 8am.

Power went out at some point early this morning, but not for long as I slept through it and I was up and down all night.

It looks like it's going far further east than they expected, hammering South Carolina more than us.

May have dodged a bullet.

Still getting tons of rain, but not much wind. According to my weather center in the back yard, the biggest gust was 23 moh.

It didn't hit south Florida. They got a bit of storm surge and some rain, but that was it. It hit the big bend and Tallahassee head on. They are fucked. So is Valdosta, Georgia. It hit there as a category 3.
