First off, who is Kirpatrick? Never heard of him. If you're talking about Kaepernick, you're WAY off base. He was an idiot. Long story short:
When everybody started taking a knee and it caused so much controversy, the NFL Players Association and the NFL got together, decided it was ruining the sport (which it was) and decided the better thing to do was just stop doing it. They all signed off on it.
But Colin wouldn't let it go and kept on doing it. Out of 1400 people, he was the
ONLY ONE that kept doing it even against the agreement he signed. He was fined for it several times before he finally stopped doing it.
After that, he acted like a complete asshole to everybody; his teammates, his coaches, the press, everybody. So he got canned. After he got canned he signed a settlement with the NFL over the whole affair for 10 million dollars. It was understood at that point that his career was over.
But Colin being Colin being Trump, he kept playing the victim that he made himself. He does to this day. I have ZERO sympathy for him at all.
Secondly, Harrison is catching hell for that. He did that on his own. The NFL isn't even in season yet. The NFL can't stop idiots like him and Aaron Rodgers from making complete asses of themselves on their own time.
At this point, neither the Kansas City Chiefs nor the NFL have commented on it at all. That leads me to believe they're looking into it and probably discussing what to do about it. It's how the NFL works and always has.
I think Harrison's career is going to be over before the season starts, if not shortly after.
