Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told The Associated Press on Sunday that officials are conscious of the potential threat, and he warned commanders to be on the lookout for any problems within their ranks as the inauguration approaches.

I find this amazing. Not only was I active duty military for approx. 4.5 years, but I was also Air National Guard for 4 years ( and was activated for 7 months active duty Air National Guard during that time frame. ), And not one, ever! at anytime "did it ever come into my mind or anyone I knew to even contemplate something like this!! Nor, did we even think someone would be really thinking someone within the ranks would be plotting, planning, or whatever doing things like this etc.

That's how far, downhill things have gone done the river !!

:cautious: Something in our system has failed seriously. Capitalism, our political system, our whole general structure is falling down etc.

Now, that ain't no BS, I'm telling you. I don't care if you're a democrat, a republican, a liberal, a conservative or what the hell you are. Something is very wrong right now today Jan 2021.

I was discussing this with the wife. If I was on an inner-duty set, I would want my people to have been together for at least 10-12 months.
Teams can learn to work together very well at two months but teams really start to know each intimately after close to a year and those types of politics start to show.

And, if it isn't bad enough, look what Kevin McCarthy pulls on twitter. What a rotten SOB he is. And, I bet you a dime to a donut, it was a damn Republican that banished the troops out in that cold garage parking lot, with all the exhaust fumes, oil on the ground, etc.

Republicans will do anything!

Even one of the troops said, ""I've never in my entire career felt like I've been booted onto the curb and told, 'Figure it out on your own,' " another told the Post."

"Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service," one guardsman told Politico. "Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed."
