FBI vetting Guard troops in DC amid fears of insider attack

And, here's the thing: The military is not the only one who has that problem. Where they might give you an accommodation, but you're not able to utilize it. Because, of the nature of your duty, or job arrangement. In the military you maybe on a 24-hr shift. Or, a 72-hour shift etc. Which mean, you must be in the "immediate area." You see why, obviously. Also, they can't drive across town in D.C. to use that accommodation and react to the capital being attacked.

Another job example would be: The Airlines. Pilots, Stews, or the aviation industry. They go through this a lot. There are other professions that have this problem. And, it is a problem.

Now, those Republicans in D.C. are supposed to know that! They themselves have to commute, and sleep over in their offices, and are hold up most of the time. Thus, someone knew, and understood that! So, this is a SPINELESS frame up on their part. SO, the turn around and blame it on the Democrats!

Kevin McCarthy has no compunction about what he's doing. They are the miserable pieces of S*** that's tearing the government down up there. I bet he even knows who even sent them out to the garage.

Nothing new there.

And, the thing is for troops to be effective, it's as important for them to get good sleep and rest, as eating and other needs to be an effective fighting force. No matter what the mission, task, or obstacles are that lay before them. That means some type of proper area (as best as possible at least) to get some shelter, cover, and some decent "bedding" to sleep on, even if it's a reasonable, cot, couch, cushion, or something manageable. Even in the field, they have some arrangements they can use to turn a hostile environment into a survivable one. Tents, sleeping bags, forms of roll up beddings etc. and they can warm their tents sometimes. And, even cook, eat etc.

Actually, they would have been more at home in the rural grassy area with a tent area with their equipment, and their mobile stuff, and given the proper area to have assembled their things close by, and provided rations, facilities, etc; and been allowed access to the capital areas as much as possible combined.

This was simply Ludacris what happened there!

Someone owes those guys an apology ! And, a thank you also for what they did.

That's bad!

And, the Republicans are going to try and twist this against the Democrats if they can. Those worthless low down #goplizards

I'm not saying it was not bad, nor am I saying good sleep is not important.

What I am saying is, when you mix the military and politicians expect to be put behind the curtain as soon as the politicians feel you no longer hold PR value.

There is nothing new to that statement for the military and it has been a fact since politics and media collided.

And for goodness sake don't take it personally; the politicians would do the same to their own mothers.

Word around the campfire is that interim CPC was a Trump appointee. (The actual Chief resigned a few days after the riot.)

It was he that sent them out so that it would be used as a political point for the GOP to yell "they don't respect the troops!".

It's not that they lost PR value. They were used to directly create negative PR.

It,too,is under investigation. Someone will be getting fired and possibly going to jail over it.
