Something tells me they're not worth $26,000 if the company is willing to dump them and take a loss vice shipping back home.

The part they omit is that they were approved. That law applies to a medical device not approved for use in a hospital. In other words, some vendor from out of the country sends a bunch of ventilators that the FDA has not approved for use in the U.S.

Yeah. THOSE can't be used.

But to date, there is no record anywhere of that ever having happened anywhere in the United States. What I believe happened is that when New York sent a bunch of its extra ventilators to others states that were suffering (and Florida was one of them) DeSantis said basically, "Screw New York! Throw those damn things in the garbage!"
