Lately, it's gotten to the point that I truly believe that democrats are far more stupid than republicans are. They live in some sort of alternate universe just like republicans do, only in the democratic universe everyone is actually equal, nobody judges by sex or skin color, everybody is judged solely on the content of their character. It's beyond insane, especially when you're allegedly trying to win elections.
My proof, you ask? Well, strap yourself in because here we go.
I was born in the city of Atlanta, downtown, Piedmont hospital in October of 1967. You don't get much more southern than that. There are things you come to know after living for 54 years in the south; first and foremost among them is that racism is still very much alive and well.
So when you see posts like this from high powered democratic influencers:
It begs the question - How stupid are you?
It's SOUTH CAROLINA. It's where the shot heard 'round the world was fired. It was the capital of the rebellion. In that state, it's STILL 1865. But with knowing all of that you thought it would be fashionable to run a black guy against a sitting white senator in Lindsey Graham?
How stupid are you?
You could have run a white potato. A white horse. A white boxcar. An old, white, Frigidaire refrigerator. A white ANYTHING pretty much and had a better chance of winning.
I lived in South Carolina for 6 years. I know a lot of people there. Nobody in South Carolina likes Lindsey Graham. But you know what? They'll vote for the white guy over the black guy any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Folks, we do not live in whatever little fantasy world you live in in upstate New York or Vermont or wherever it is you live.
This is THE SOUTH. We have fought progress tooth and nail for the last 156 years.

Really? You're surprised about Kentucky? You ran a woman against a man in the most 'redneck, misogynistic, get your barefoot, pregnant ass in the kitchen and make me a sammich and bring me a beer' state in the union and you have the unmitigated gall to be surprised she lost?

And they're doing it again. They're running "fashionable" candidates that they say "are very qualified to govern" in the south who have no chance in hell of winning.
And running an anti gun guy in TEXAS OF ALL PLACES? How in the name of all that is holy do you do that? How do you back that level of absolute stupidity?
Money. That's how. Dems let run whoever can bring in the money. They literally DO NOT CARE who wins or loses, so long as they bring in the cash.
That is why they will lose the house, the senate and a whole hell of a lot more than that come 2022.

- Val Demings will lose to Marco Rubio - reason: She's black and a woman.
