For me, it's been a long, long road with Volvo cars.
You have to go back 22 years to when I met my wife. Back then, I had my beloved white BMW 525i. She was driving a black Nissan Maxima.
About a year after we got married, she bought a white Volvo S60 because she wanted leather seats. She had no personal preference for Volvo until then.
6 years later she wants another S60, so she got the 2009 black S60 T5 I'm driving now. My old BMW being bottom man on the totem pole had to go.
Not a day goes by I don't miss that car.
So she got the new black turbo, I got her old white one and that's been how we roll ever since. A few years ago she got a new 2014 S60, I got the hand me down black S60, the white one had to go.
Now, here comes the rub: WHEN (not if) she gets her new S60, my daughter will get the Silver 2014 S60 and I'll still be in the nearing the end of its useable life black S60.
But I do have my Vmax, so it's all good.

I've always wanted an Audi. Just not in the cards for me, sadly. I tried to talk the wife into an A6 twice but she doesn't like the way they look.

Hey, don't lump me in there, I drive a little old 2019 Fusion and it was a rental previous.
I actually looked at one of those years ago. It looked like a solid car. The one I really wanted was the Taurus SHO but they stopped making it.

We got more then half off a top end loaded hybrid. We fill the gas tank ONCE a month.

With us sequestered here at the house the last time I filled up my car was 6 weeks ago. I think it's been longer than that for my wife's car.
