Biden's new Amtrak map.

It's a good idea but I wonder if it will be finished soon enough to see some use before driver-less vehicles start moving people (rail not needed).
If driverless vehicles ever happen it'll be very limited. Maybe inner cities and parks and the like. It'll not happen in the U.S. anytime soon though for one simple reason: insurance. Nobody is going to insure a multi-billion dollar corporation for full liability on driverless tech when they're fucking killing people with it already. It'll be at least another 50 to 100 years before it takes place on any sort of big scale.

Maybe in the US due to liability issues but when you've got large ground to cover to make money in places like here, Australia, and Russia then there will be sales to be had.

Russia doesn't even have reliable red lights. They'll not be doing driverless cars a century from now.

Can confirm.

They have a great many infrastructure issues. The roads around major cities aren't bad, but they have absolutely awful highway systems that connect them.

We drove from Moscow to Nishny Novgorod once and I felt like I had gone 10 rounds with Marvin Hagler.

They are rough. Big time.

I hope the driverless thing happens soon. Seriously. I fucking hate driving and most people really shouldn't be driving they suck so bad at it. It would put insurance companies out of business because there wouldn't be any wrecks. That's why its not happening I bet. Insurance knows they'd all go broke.
