A alternative to World of Warships is being developed by a Australian developer

Well, not to rain on his parade, but sitting in a bathroom with really bad wallpaper doing a Zoom meeting doesn't fill anybody with any real hope.

Good seeing you, Alex!
Nice to see you as well, I have reduced my WOWS playing hours due to it being stale, co-op at this point is not fun

I actually played a few days about a month ago and looked for you, but you were never online. I uninstalled it a couple weeks ago. I just picked up Age of Empires 4, so I'll be learning that over the next week or so.

Chances are I may also try the alternative to WOWS being developed in Australia

Well, I'm willing to bet that's years away at best if it ever happens at all. Frankly, I give it about zero chance of ever happening.

From what I can gather, the guy is from Red Sky Games. They make a board game of some kind. I don't think they've ever made a computer game. I could be wrong.

The video was released back on the 9th of December of 2021. He has one post after that on December 22. Since then, no posts at all, no news, there's no website for the game at all. In fact, there's no website for the entire company, just a Facebook page.

Given the "shooting an interview in a bathroom with really bad wallpaper" announcement, along with the fact there's no company website, no previous game experience of any kind and no posts about it since that video nearly 4 months ago, I think the guy is completely full of shit.

I remember when Armored Warfare was supposed to be the World of Tanks killer. It could have been if Obsidian hadn't given up on it. Sadly, they did and My turned it into the same money pit of RNG crap that WoT is.

No idea. This part I find rather confusing:
The studio’s entire development staff will join Riot Sydney, while the existing publishing team will remain a part of Wargaming.

Again, why they would bother with Bigworld is beyond me. It's a dead tool. Even Wargaming have been trying to move to the Havok engine for years because of Bigworld's limitations.

I don't know if they ever did it though.
