Wargaming under investigation for Money Laundering

See this part:

“Within their financial reports for the tax authorities, GlobalMoney shows significant financial proceeds from the replenishment of games owned by Wargaming LLC. In fact, the amount of money received by the Ukrainian GlobalMoney accounts from players of World of Tanks and other games is insignificant. At the same time, millions of dollars are being spent on bank accounts in European countries,” says a Czech law enforcement official.

That means that Shadora and @IconCharlie were right all along. All those 10's of thousands of players on the EU & RU servers never existed. They were all covers for money laundering. Accounts that could be referenced as having paid money to the game that then goes back to be withdrawn from other accounts.

It's why WG never deleted accounts...

You kidding? The EU and US get to take a big bite out of Russian money launderers? If they can believe me they will. They don't want Russia taking over their money laundering business.
Sort of.

Why do you think I called it back then? So far I am not hearing all that they have found.

And I fully believe that there is a lot more that they have not found and/or have not stated yet.

Now I've always stated that we should have given the proper authorities notice of our findings, but the feeling that I got was the opposite to that so I just stayed quiet out of respect of this group.

But I have a feeling there is more to the methods of what they are doing that has not been spoken yet.

Also I went to the forum and... same as it was before... a lot of REEEEEing by the apoligists.

And TVASO has become a beta tester... BHWWHWHAAAHAHHA.... HA...

I remember that. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. The Washington Post doesn't report a story to the authorities so that the authorities will investigate it. People read the story and it becomes so hot and popular that the authorities then look into it.

Besides, although the articles turned out to be fairly accurate, they were purely speculative for the most part. There was no "evidence" per se.

On top of that, who would you report it to?

That is essentially what is happening now: apparently these Ukrainian Journalists published a story that was so hot it got the authorities attention. Someone somewhere in Ukraine walked into the office one morning and said, "Hey Chief, have you read this?" and that got the ball rolling.

I'm sure they're just now scraping the tip of the iceberg. The articles were posted in December of 2020. The EU started its investigation in February and the United States just joined it in April, so I'm of the opinion it's far larger than anybody currently thinks.

That really doesn't take much. I've been a beta tester on many things from Photoshop 4 and Quark Express 6 to Diablo III and Civilization 6. I'm in line to start testing on Diablo 2 Resurrected in a few weeks for its release in September. Typically it's just having an interest in doing it and being around and applying for it.

Deleted.

User banned, I'm sure.

LOL!
