The fix is in.

First, the Justice Department files an appeal to stop the release of the Barr Mueller report document.

Now, they're acting like the attorneys for Barr and Trump by asking a judge to dismiss the lawsuit against them for Trump's Bible photo op.


At this point, I have to assume that Biden has in fact ordered a cover up. He doesn't want anybody doing anything about the Trump years at all. He's pulling a Gerald Ford and sweeping it all under the rug.

I'm thoroughly disgusted.

They've done worse than that.

They've given Trump the 2024 election. Provided of course that Trump lives that long.

He's leaving the department in a few months. Investigates for years and suddenly decides he's had enough.

Someone needs to inform Merrick Garland that taking up a cause to make the president above the law by making him immune from prosecution after the fact is NOT how the "rule of law" and "nobody is above the law" is supposed to work.

I don't honestly believe it's the "honor of the presidency" Biden's worried about. I think it's flat-out selfishness. He doesn't want the media (and more importantly to him, history) talking about nothing but the trial and prosecution of ex-president Donald J. Trump.

He wants to build his legacy and have the history books talk about how he was the second coming of FDR.

That's what vanity does to a person. Biden doesn't realize that his real legacy is going to be letting the worst, most corrupt criminal president in history not only get away with it all, but defending him for doing so.

At least Ford just put out a full pardon and moved on. That cost him any mention in history as a good president and prevented him from ever having his own presidency. (Although he did get a new carrier line named after him, so...)

In my humble opinion, history will wind up being far more brutal to Biden and Garland than they ever will Trump and Barr.
