I can't believe I missed this.

Remember this guy:



His name is Sergey Burkatovskiy and he was the Creative Director of World of Tanks. He was also the subject of thousands of memes used to troll the player base of World of Tanks for years.

Well, apparently, he was fired because he supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He apparently made a post on Facebook that read:

“I support the operations of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic."

The post was then deleted, but the damage was done. Wargaming canned him for it. Their statement read:

“Burkatovskiy expressed his personal opinion on social media which categorically does not reflect the position of the company. He has been let go and is no longer at the company."

Maybe he can hook up with Madison Cawthorn and start a new company together.
