the suite of bills would establish a local framework for marijuana production and, according to the government, “ensure a well-regulated, safe and controlled cannabis industry.”

Attorney General Ryan Pinder and Health and Wellness Minister Michael Darville announced the proposed reforms during the Office of the Prime Minister’s weekly press briefing on Thursday.

Pinder said he’d like to have the bills in Parliament by October.

I'm not at all familiar with it. The laws there, that is. I've only been once and man, I was laying there on a beach towel looking out at the ocean trying to figure out which way the earth was rotating.

Oh I know stuff can be gotten, but the islands themselves have some unusual applications of their laws. In Bermuda, during the 80's and 90's (not sure now) you would have gotten more time in jail for nudity on the beach then attempted murder.
