HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Seems this asshole will never change. What a joke!!

Yep. It’s more complete bullshit lip service to try to get people to come back and play the game with the hopes it will actually change for the better. It wont. It never will. Not while that asshole runs things.

xD LOL 😀 Vicky, is kinda like one of those abusive lovers who beats you, abuses you, sets up roller skates on the stair case for you to fall down the steps, and laughs at you while you fall down the steps, then tells you, “I’m the best you can get.” Then when the battered person realizes, they have to leave, Vicky come’s out with a statement like this letter of apologies. “Oh please don’t leave, it was all my fault, it was my mistake, I didn’t mean to, I see the light now, I didn’t know what I was doing, baby forgive me, I’ll be good next time, I promise, this will never happen again, you can trust me, I need you, it will be different! Just don’t leave me! I’ll be good, I’ll be so good, you’ll see. I promise!!! You can take it to the bank, cough, cough, I mean I will … 😀

Yes, I’m turning over a new leaf, but there’s going to be a learning curve, I’m liable to slip up a few times in the mean time however…. LOL.

Vicky the wife beater. I can see that.

Just found out about this. They’ve already locked up several threads on the official forum talking about it.

    But they listen to criticism.

    Sounds legit.

Sums it up pretty much exactly.

  4. Insurrectional_Leftist says:

Locking up, and Locking down threads? Yep, standard WGNA Operating procedure. Crushing dissent, open discussion, freedom of speech, any discussion about issues about what’s wrong with the game. Even when the CEO himself has stated it to be an issue from the very words from his own mouth cited and quoted as a matter of record on the world wide web as intended to be. Good Ole WGNA an it oppressive, Strike Banning, Censoring, hardliners, straight from the Soviet Era. Nothing ever changes with the corrupt WGNA office. They take night course in corruption.

They would make good Putin puppets if they had to move over to Russia if ordered to do so.

How do you know they actually aren’t?

    – Thing 1

  5. Gomez_Adams says:

Unless your bashing Jews, Gays, and Blacks. Then it’s all good. They’ll listen to that all day long. In fact, they’ll ban you if you stand up against it.

    No shit brother.

I don’t post much, but I’m that arty main guy. Literally 91%+ artillery games played on my account (an actual artillery main). This is no joke, if they push through this stun bullshit and destroy the support class I specialize in just to appease the whiners, I’m done with this game. It will be the tipping point that gets me to move on.

Then you’d best pack your bags. They’ve already stated they’re doing it. Sorry, pal.

  7. ArthVex says:

(Addendum) There have been so many reasonable proposed changes to the SPG class, and they choose some bullshit method that everyone hates. It would be a giant middle finger to the face of everyone complaining/playing arty for them to make this change.

I agree. A simple limiting it to two per side for starters would have gone a long damn ways to curing the issue. But noooooooo. Let’s COMPLETELY fuck it up the Wargaming way!

They have not learnt a thing after the Mutsu BB outrage

I heard a bit about that from our resident shipper, but according to him most people really didn’t give a damn.

  9. Mr_Alex says:

Thing1, I’ll give you a sign of Wargaming’s desperation and how they decided to remove stock hulls from some ships in World of Warships which was originally free content and paygating them as premium ships, last year they removed the following stock hulls:

Nagato A which was her 1920s hull with serpantine funnel, it was downtiered and came back as a Mutsu with torpedo launchers, when screenshots of it came out, many people were outraged when they saw it come back as a downtiered T6 premium ship and when I asked on WOWS forums if the WGNA staff could provide statistics on the sale of the Mutsu in premium shop on forums, thread was deleted within minutes

Amagi A which was also what Amagi was meant to look like in 1929 if she was built, the stock hull was removed under playability issues and word has come out that Wargaming is downtiering it and selling it as a premium under the name Ashitaka

Kongo A which was her 1914 hull was also removed under the pretense of playability issues, possibly coming back as a T4-5 premium

Fuso A was also removed under pretense of playability issues, could come back as T4 or T5 premium under another name (Yamashiro) which will cause outrage within IJN fanboys who want it in her final configuration

Colorado A which is her 1921 stock hill also removed under pretense on playability issues, I suspect it will come back as a T6 downtiered premium under the name West Virginia or Maryland

New Mexico A which was her 1919 or 1920s hull was also removed under the pretense of playability issues, word is that it is coming back as a downtiered T5 premium ship under the name of Idaho or Mississipi

Notice a disturbing trend here, this is called the removal of free content and paygating it as downtiered premium ships is not only bad business practice, its called deceiving the playerbase and that shows how desperate Wargaming is, when I raised the subject that removing free content and putting it behind a paywall is not only just wrong, it is deception on WG’s part, many Wargaming shills and trolls defended the practice

  10. ArthVex says:

Believe me, the bags are already packed. I have every intention of taking my money and walking. Started gaming in the Wolf3D era, and while ill be sad to see this one go it is just one in a long line.

Well, you wont be the first to do so by a long shot. Turn the light off and lock the door behind you when you leave.

    To Victor Kislyi

Here are 14 different version samples of Resignation Letters, which you could use to formulate your “own resignation letter from Wargaming”. Perhaps, having a new CEO could help allow the players a better chance at being heard? Again, these are only past sample resignation letters which might give you some ideas.

Good to see a new article, it’s been much too long. I’m curious how this will all play out this year.

It’s already playing out which is why there aren’t many articles lately. Things are dead. People are simply losing interest in it completely. It will only get worse.

  13. Mr_Alex says:

Interesting on World of Warships forum tonight that a thread on player numbers have surfaced, it does not bode well for the World of Warships title mainly North America server, also Nikopower has taken to the forums saying it is nothing of concern yet, when I checked the Wows server number stats site, it seems WOWS is losing players

  14. Gomez_Adams says:

WoWS is actually holding it’s own right now. It did have steady growth of 7% last year, but that’s tappered off and pretty much staying right where it is. It’s actually World of Tanks that is still losing players in a steady 2% decline.

Both games are suffering though. People have just caught on to the rigged nature of it all and they’re sick of it and moving on. New players simply aren’t staying long at all anymore because…well, just look at this site.

Of all the things Wargaming has going against it right now, it’s the power clans and stat whores that are the most damaging of all. Hands down.

  15. PrinzEugen85 says:

Warships, oddly enough, seems like the superior product; it’s a well rounded game and it’s devs are happy to give it tlc when it needs it. I guess time will tell if it’s allowed to blossom, or if it’s just milked to death like WoT.

  16. Gomez_Adams says:

They’re already milking it to death. They’ve recently started hurling ships into the game at record breaking pace, power creep is screwing up a lot of ships, now they’re doing knee-jerk patches to change mechanics…

Same thing they did with World of Tanks: take a well thought out idea and just hurl shit into it hand over fist for a money grab and let the chips fall where they may.

    There’s a big surprise. NOT!

  17. Speedy_DePalma says:

Speak of the devil they’re rolling out a new Swedish premium tier VIII with 288mm of pen because if you thought premium td’s weren’t broken as fuck already WG went into “hold my beer” mode with that one.

  18. Speedy_DePalma says:

Forgot to put it in earlier but it’s essentially the UDES03.

  19. Gomez_Adams says:

It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

  20. Mr_Alex says:

Lets see if Wargaming themselves can last into 2018 or 2019

  21. Gomez_Adams says:

Here’s the funny part: their real money isn’t in games anymore. It’s in real estate. It has been for the last few years. They got burned though on the last bailout restructure.

They’ll still be around, but they’re going down hill fast. Both their new games are complete flops. They have absolutely nothing in the works that has any promise at all. They’ve screwed up so bad to the point that it’s going to take a herculean effort on their part to ever recover from it.

Frankly, they don’t have it in them. They and the people they have working for them are and always have been a bunch of narcissistic, vindictive pricks. They’ll never change. As they say, “It’s all down hill from here.”

  22. Speedy_DePalma says:

I’ve never heard of that when did this bailout happen?

  23. Gomez_Adams says:

Are you kidding me? You completely missed the GLOBAL recession of 2008 to 2012? You totally missed all the news about the EU bailouts of Greece? You completely missed all of that?

Wow man. Just freaking wow. I think you need to stop gaming altogether and start looking at the world you live in a whole lot more.

  24. Speedy_DePalma says:

I know about that but what does that have to do with Wargaming directly? The way you worded your post makes it sound like they’re some sort of real estate moguls.

  25. Gomez_Adams says:

They are. Why do you think they bought interest in a Cyprus bank? So they could get in on the bailout deal and restructure the loans they held on thousands of properties they owned.

They got burnt though on the last exchange, which is why they’ve been laying people off and shutting down offices hand over fist ever since and running everything they do on a skeleton crew.

  26. Mr_Alex says:

@Gomez_Adams, what you are describing is potentially shady activity being done by Wargaming

No shit. You obviously didn’t read this:
